Retail Careers
While traditional department and specialty stores remain a key part of our business, our own retail stores are our largest channel of distribution. What began as one factory outlet store in 1981, has grown to over 160 stores in the United States and Puerto Rico.
OshKosh Outlet Stores, located primarily in outlet shopping centers, offer a broad assortment of clothing and accessories for newborns through size 16 all at reasonable prices.

Sales Associate
TheSales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service by utilizing the company's non-negotiable selling standards. Hours of availability must be flexible including nights and weekends. The Sales Associate is responsible for meeting daily Units Per Transaction and Average Transaction goals. The Sales Associate is also responsible for product merchandising, safeguarding company assets, completing sales transactions and maintaining a clean, neat and presentable store environment. Qualified individuals must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and some retail/apparel experience is preferred.

Supervisor
In addition to fulfilling the same responsibilities as a Sales Associate, the Supervisor is a member of management. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, is responsible for operation. Responsibilities include assisting store management in all aspects of operating the retail location including opening/closing responsibilities (carries keys), merchandising (receipt, ticketing, hanging and display), inventory control, sales transactions, general housekeeping and maintenance, safeguarding of store assets, and bank deposits.

Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of operating the retail location. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for overall store operations. In addition to fulfilling the same responsibilities as a Supervisor, the Assistant Manager is responsible for generating sales, opening/closing the store, merchandising, inventory control, sales transactions, general housekeeping and maintenance, safeguarding of store assets, and bank deposits. Additionally, the Assistant Store Team Leader supports the Store Manager in building a superior team and holds store staff accountable according to personnel policies and procedures.

Store Manager
The Store Manager is responsible for total operations including driving sales, providing outstanding customer service, creating a positive work environment and cultivating employee potential, managing payroll and controllable expenses, maintaining a store environment that is clean, neat and merchandised to company standards and most importantly, ensuring you, your team and customers have fun!
Requirements of the position include:
- Two + years specialty retail apparel Store Manager experience preferred.
- Proven ability to successfully manage all aspects of the store environment.
- Solid hiring, staffing and coaching experience.
- P&L and scheduling exposure and experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or related field preferred.
